Data We Collect

This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any form of user registration. Apart from the Ava chat described below, avamundo.com does not collect or store personal data. Aggregate, cookieless visitor statistics are described under Analytics below.

Standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp, requested URL) may be generated by our hosting provider (Germany) for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used for marketing and are deleted automatically after 30 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in securing the service).

Ava Chat

We use AI service providers based in the EU and the USA to answer your questions in the Ava chat. Transfers to the USA are based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). We send your question, the earlier messages of the same conversation and a list of our published guides; no name, email address or account data. Your IP address is used only on our server to limit the number of requests and is kept for at most one hour. For quality checks we keep an anonymised sample of the last five questions of a conversation (email addresses, phone numbers and links removed) for at most six months. Nothing else from the chat is stored. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your request).

Wir nutzen KI-Dienstleister mit Sitz in der EU und in den USA, um Ihre Fragen im Ava-Chat zu beantworten. Übermittlungen in die USA stützen sich auf die EU-Standardvertragsklauseln (Art. 46 Abs. 2 lit. c DSGVO). Wir übermitteln Ihre Frage, die vorherigen Nachrichten desselben Gesprächs und eine Liste unserer veröffentlichten Guides; keine Namen, E-Mail-Adressen oder Kontodaten. Ihre IP-Adresse wird nur auf unserem Server zur Begrenzung der Anfragen verwendet und höchstens eine Stunde gespeichert. Zur Qualitätskontrolle bewahren wir eine anonymisierte Stichprobe der letzten fünf Fragen eines Gesprächs (ohne E-Mail-Adressen, Telefonnummern und Links) höchstens sechs Monate auf. Weitere Daten aus dem Chat werden nicht gespeichert. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (berechtigtes Interesse an der Beantwortung Ihrer Anfrage).

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless and privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand how visitors use this site. Plausible collects only aggregate data — page views, referral sources and country — and stores no personal information and sets no cookies. The analytics software is self-hosted on our own servers in the EU. No data is shared with third parties.
